A travel blog called “Travel Soldiers”!

Travel Soldiers was an idea at the beginning of our relationship during an adventurous trip to Corfu, Greece. We had an awesome week, visiting Corfu beaches, and thought why not have this all the time? A travel blog seems like the perfect thing to do. We both have studied civil engineering and are working in Germany as civil engineers but this does not stop us from living an adventurous life. I always wanted to travel so I started to read other travel bloggers to understand how it works. It was far away from reality and seemed impossible… Alket made me realize that it can be done, it is not as unrealistic as it seems. Then we started to bring this idea to realization.

Why the name Travel Soldiers?

The main subject of the blog is traveling so it makes sense to include this word on the name. But the difference here is at Soldiers, right? Well, we have passed a lot of names in our minds. It was hard to choose one that seemed right for the blog. We went with Travel Soldiers. A soldier represents a dedicated and firm person to reach their goal. A travel soldier is devoted to travelling. It is something truly meaningful for him/her and so it is made with dedication and care. We will be always in search of stunning countries and we are calling them Travel Missions.

What are Travel Soldiers about?

Neither of us travelled much as a kid. Our families went on summer vacation, maybe once a year and that’s it. Growing up you realize travel makes you feel alive. You see other places, experience other cultures, widen your mind, and decide you want to do this. Starting with small steps, since neither of us knew a thing about blogging, we decided to build Travel Soldiers as a travel blog where we share our journey. Our blog niche is to show you travelling as it is, without filters, with ups and downs. Also, Travel Soldiers represents a budget travel couple that believes everyone can explore without spending a fortune.

Visited countries and the new ones to come !!!

Nature has blessed Albania, our home country. From the Albanian Alps to the South Riviera, it has so much to offer. We have travelled to a lot of places but still have so much to see there. We have visited Balkan and Western Europe till now but travel doesn’t stop there. Italy, Greece, Spain, and the Netherlands are some of our destinations. We moved two years ago to Germany and have explored it a lot let’s say. This country is in the heart of Europe and has great access not only to Europe but all over the world. This way it is easier and cheaper for us to travel. Next plans send us on awesome travel missions.
