It is well known that Germany is home to some of the most beautiful Christmas Markets in the world. If you want to experience a complete festive atmosphere make a trip to one of the German Christmas Markets. We had the opportunity to visit Frankfurt Christmas Market last year and it was awesome. The decorations, the people and the food make it a perfect destination for Christmas and New Year.
Mulled wine (Glühwein), roasted almonds (gebrannte Mandeln), sausages and different type of potatoes dishes, especially Kartoffelpuffer are the most popular foods at the Frankfurt Christmas Market (Weihnachtsmarkt).
